Strathearn Art Walk 2018

The Strathearn Art Walk is happening this weekend, Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 12 pm-7 pm.  9511-90 Street.  Rain or shine.  Come support your local artists.  Details at

Getting here:

Strathearn Art Walk takes place in the park along Strathearn Drive, between 89 and 91 streets.

You can walk, bike, drive or take the bus.


#112 and #322 come within 3 blocks of the art walk site (along 95 Avenue). Route #8 comes within 4 blocks of the art walk site (Strathearn Drive at 95 Avenue).


NEW THIS YEAR! Bikes can be locked in our URBIS Bicycle Lock Up on the festival site.  Each bike that makes use of our bicycle lock up will get entered into a draw to win some amazing cycle gear!


Along Strathearn Drive and in the neighbourhood on a first come, first served basis.  Please note that there will be some parking restrictions.  Please respect the parking signage.  

On-Site Services:

  • Three washroom locations on the site complete with hand wash sinks. 
  • Lost & Found (Located in the Beer Gardens).
  • There are first aid stations located on site.
  • Volunteers with first aid training will be wearing first aid lanyards for easy identification.
  • Pets are not permitted in the Beer Gardens. 

Cash and Credit:

There are ATMs on site. Each artist takes care of their own payments. Many artists accept credit cards, however we recommend you bring cash as well.

Food can be purchased with cash or major creditcards. You can buy drink tickets ($2 per ticket) at the entrance to the Beer Gardens.

Art from the Unknown 2017

 I will be showcasing my art this weekend at this first class event!  Come by and check out some great art.  The Friday night Reception is one of the best events.

This free event provides a no-cost gallery space to our community's new and emerging artists (defined as any artist, regardless of skill level, whose primary income does not come from selling their work). Over the following 3 days, 700 visitors are expected to view 70+ artists at this free gallery.

For the 10th year in a row Hon. Rachel Notley will host this event that saw its original success under former Edmonton-Strathcona MLA Raj Pannu.

"Art and Fashion Together" 

We are excited to invite you to our summer celebration on June 24th, 2017 from 10 am to 5 pm.   Come and join us in welcoming to our store local artist Ramsey Dziubiak. 

Designers create shoes, clothing and accessories with the same approach as an artist - a blank canvas to begin and a unique design to finish!   To celebrate this special celebration of art, summer and Canada's 150th birthday, we will be sharing authentic Tiramisu cake and a glass of Prosecco.   We also present new arrivals from Europe!   A brand new soft leather sandal in various colours, that are free from harmful dyes and chemicals. 


Holiday heART Market

December 08-11, 2016 there will be a Holiday heART Market, pop-up shop right next to the Duchess Bake Shop.  There will be 15 artists, including myself.  Please come by and check out sme fantastic art.  There is also a friday night reception from 7-9 pm.

Happy Holidays Everyone!  It's been a while since I've posted but it has been an exciting year - the Art Walk, Art In Our Park and Art of the Unknown to name a few.  In January, through to March of 2013 I will be showing some new paintings at the Benjamin Moore at 544 Riverbend Square, Edmonton, Alberta.  I have some new pieces and some new ideas to share.  Come down and have a look!

I am very excited about the up and coming art show October 21-23, I'm going to featuring my new "Fall New York City 2011 Series" which I am very happy with - come down and check them out!  Details are below:

Art from the Unknown is a free admission art gallery hosted by MLA Rachel Notley.  This gallery provides new and emerging artists the opportunity to display and sell their works in a gallery setting.  Artists were called on to submit a sample of their artwork and then were selected to showcase their talents. 

The gallery will be held at the Old Strathcona Centre for the Performing Arts (8426, Gateway Blvd) and will be open to the public at the following times:

Hello Everyone!

Well this weekend at "Art in the Park" started off with beautiful, clear skies and ended with big gusts of chilly wind, but all in all, it was a success! 

Now I'm looking forward to the next art showing coming up in October.  Once a year, Rachel Notley MLA hosts "Art from the Unknown" in the Old Strathcona Centre for the Performing Arts at 8426 Gateway Boulevard. 

The show begins on Friday, October 21, from 6pm-9pm for the Opening Night Reception; Saturday, October 22 from 9am-6pm and Sunday, October 23 from 12pm-4pm. 

I'll have more details to follow as the event nears!

Hello Everyone!

Well it looks like August is almost coming to a close and with Fall comes Art Shows!

This September I will be showing my pieces at the "Art In Our Park" Art Festival and Sale, in Riverbend.  This event takes place on September 17, 2011 at the James Ramsey Park (43 avenue and Riverbend Road) from 2-6pm. 

There will be a showcase of artists, writers, musicians and performers along with a visual art and craft sale, mainstage performances, satellite performances throughout the Park and workshops and demonstrations.  For more information visit the Riverbend Community League Upcoming Events at
