Born in Canada in 1973, Ramsey has always maintained his artistic individuality by stepping outside of linear thought patterns at an early age and the masters of art whose works he studied in France, Holland, London and New York are his mentors.

Ramsey paints with brilliant coloured oils on fine Belgian linen and his pieces are unique in that they may be displayed in both traditional and modern venues - timeless motifs are carried throughout his works. Currently, his works have been included in many private art collections in Canada.

In 2008 Ramsey was approached by Canada's Liquor Depot, Liquor Stores Income Fund, to design a private label for 600 case of a Bordeaux-style shiraz that was called "Le Petite Pistole". Following the success of this introductory wine, Ramsey was again asked to desgin two more labels for 600 cases of an Australian shiraz cabernet and semillion-chardonnay called "Richie Tree".

Ramsey continues to study and paint in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
